Annica Tortis

Annica has been working in corporate law since 2012 and joined JGW Avocats et conseillers d’affaires in 2016. As Team Lead of the corporate department, she oversees the day-to-day operations of a dynamic team of paralegals and assistants and ensures the smooth coordination of mandates. She also participates in the preparation and drafting of various legal documents related to corporate and tax transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions mandates. In particular, she handles filings, registrations, searches and updates of documents with various authorities and government registries, such as the Registraire des entreprises du Québec, Corporations Canada, the Land Register, the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights (RDPRM), and the Ontario Business Registry.
